Delivery delays 3rd December 
Due to the heavy snow in our area there may be a delay on deliveries. We will keep you informed if there will be any long delays. All been well parcels should be despatch as normal on Monday 6th December.

Rolled up in a tube
We now offer FREE delivery for overseas customers (outside the UK) on all our products. However we don't mount our overseas products we simply roll the canvas and post them out in a tube. This will save you and us on expensive delivery charges. We hope you agree this is a better way of sending our artwork.
This means all our prices will stay the same for customers all around the world. Let us know your thoughts?

Happy Easter
What is Easter? - It's not just a day off work: History actually suggests that the Easter bunny was originally a hare. In pagan mythology, the hare represented love, growth and fertility. The hare and the egg were also the symbols of the spring and lunar goddess Eostre, from whose name it is generally believed that the word 'Easter' is derived.
In some ancient cultures, the hare was a symbol for the moon. Hares feed by night and have been observed staring at the moon when it is full. Their gestation period was also believed to be 28 days — the same as a lunar cycle. The lunar cycle, which represented the victory of life over death or spring over winter, was celebrated around the vernal equinox. That is why the date for Easter changes each year: it is based on the lunar cycle. The Council of Nicea in 325AD decided Easter would fall on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the vernal equinox on 21 March.

Spring Cleaning 
It's now the time of year were traditionally it's time to clean; It has been suggested that the origins of spring cleaning date back to the Iranian Norouz, the Persian new year, which falls on the first day of spring. This theory has been questioned, however, as Iranians (along with the majority of the population of the ancient near east) held to a lunar calendar and not a solar one and spring was not calculated the same way that society does today. Iranians continue the practice of "khooneh tekouni" which literally means "shaking the house" just before the new year. Everything in the house is thoroughly cleaned, from the drapes to the furniture.
